Many ways to use this mix

Following the recipe makes a very rich, buttery extremely hot sauce. I watered it down with beer and chicken broth and my favorite bbq sauce, one stick of butter and just a teaspoon of mix. Sweet, savory and not soooo HOT. Used this for 30 shrimp.

Quick and easy

The recipe is so quick and easy to follow. I put together my own little meal, paring the bbq shrimp on top of fettuccini noodles mixed with white clam sauce and a little pesto sauce. It was so good and I received a lot of compliments. This item is a great buy for the cost and it gives you another option for cooking shrimp. There were definitely NO dislikes! Loved the recipe!

Great flavor

This product has great flavor and is very easy to use. We did it on a WeberQ grill at a NASCAR race with an aluminum baking pan. This was just a quick idea we had off the top of our heads, and it turned out great.

Really really good stuff

I was recently in Louisiana and had BBQ shrimp. When I returned home I made it from scratch and also used this packet. This stuff was better and alot easier than making it from scratch. Can't find it in the stores in the Coal Region in PA. so I bought the whole case online. Mix it with chicked and shrimp and pour over egg noodles or linguini as an alternative. Better than shrimp scampi which is all you see around this area.

Absolutely the best stuff ever!!! I have tried to get my store (HEB) to order it... I'm even stalking them but no luck. Tip from a real Cajun... same recipe but use 2x sauce mix. It makes it much more richer.

Fabulous flavor!

Years ago, a local restaurant served a shrimp dish that I loved--but could not duplicate. THIS IS IT! Tried this mixture for a holiday event...I think I ate most of the shrimp--just delicious. Be sure to use the headed shrimp. Leaving the heads on while cooking boosts the flavor. It's tangy, sweet with a kick. I am hooked. Monthly meal for me.

Made the following subs and it comes out great. Add 2 tablespoons of chopped garlic 3/4 cup white wine (red works also) 1/4 cup water 2 lbs shrimp 1/2 stick of butter 1/2 envelope BBQ Shrimp sliced onions on top

I'm from New Orleans and now living in north Texas makes it hard to get good seafood so I tried the BBQ shrimp mix and my family & friends raved! It was so fast & easy and what a wonderful flavor! Try it on chicken!!

I love this mix with shrimp, but as a college student chicken is much easier to afford, so I cooked it the same as you would with Shrimp and some Tysons boneless skinless chicken strips and it was amazing!! Some of the best chicken I've had.

My wife makes BBQ shrimp from scratch that is to die for. However it is quite a chore getting all of the seasonings together. I have tried BBQ shrimp in many of the resturaunts in south Louisiana, but none compare to her recipe. However Louisiana Fish Fry products have once again made authenic cajun recipes easy!!!! This tastes as close to my wifes recipe as any I have tried!! Congratulations on another great product.

"Made from Scratch" meals were my family’s favorites. It was a lot of work for special dinners, special events and holiday meals with friends and family. One day, in a jam, I used one of LFF’s mixes and received even more compliments than usual. Over the next few months, I tried all of their mixes and realized for the first time in my life, I did not need to doctor any of the mixes to achieve a great Cajun flavor. I have since replaced the work of most of my “Made from Scratch” meals to gain more quality time spent with friends and family. Oh, and I still receive compliments for my cooking skills and recipes, what they don’t know, won’t hurt me! I was reluctant to try the BBQ Shrimp at first, no one could possibly make Quality New Orleans BBQ Shrimp from a mix, I thought. Boy was I wrong. I am confident that you too will love the dish and will enjoy cooking it on more days than the special occasions. Don’t forget to slice some French Bread, dip both sides in the sauce and toast them in the oven. It doesn’t get any better than this!

We love this bbq shrimp sauce mix!

I tasted BBQ shrimp in New Orleans for the first time this summer and loved it, so I bought your mix to bring home. My husband and our friends absolutely love it! We even tried it with "peel and eat" shrimp - cooked in a foil pan on the grill just until warm - it was fantastic!! The French bread dipped in the sauce is to die for!

I bought this when I was in New Orleans in April, thinking it would be easy and really good. Well I was right, I only used two sticks of butter, instead of the four. It still was real tasty, but I think the four sticks of butter would have mellowed out the spiciness. YUMMMMMMMMM

We are enjoying the winter in FL, where we found your mixes at a shrimp market. We fixed the BBQ SHRIMP for our guests, and got nothing but raves and request for my recipes. Because we're in a motor home with no oven, I used my convection-/microwave oven. This was a hit with my guests and also a few of the neighbors.
