Quick and deilcious!

I made the cobbler with fresh peaches and nectarines. The directions were clear and easy to follow. The dessert was amazing! The batter baked up around the fruit and was a total package of yummy goodness!

This mix is Great, it is easy to prepare with the fruit grown in my orchard, for a quick treat when friends or family drop in - I kept a stash in my cabinet, until this year when my local stores no longer carried it, I tried a store brand and while it will work in a pinch, there is nothing like the Louisana brand for quality time after time.

I purchased a couple of packs at Academy Sports and took them Camping with a bunch of Cub Scouts. I doubled the recipe and 2 cans of sliced peaches. It was perfect for a # 12 dutch oven. Add a scoup of "hand cranked" homemade icecream and I was the talk of the camp ground. YUM YUM

Simply: the best!!

We found this wonderful product last year, (2009) during the height of the Blackberry and Peach seasons, here along the Oklahoma and Arkansas border! What a surprise; what a delicious treat!! Just follow the simple instructions and you'll be rewarded with an authentic, hardy cobbler which won't stay around long!! Besides the unique taste... which makes other's cobblers wimps by comparison, this NON cook (me) really appreciated the ease of preparation. But then, that's what country folk have always known: It's the simple things in Life which are the best!!! One drawback: This year, we can't find the product on the store shelves. SO, if you find it on your's, take my advice and purchase several. They'll keep!! (Thankfully, we can order on the WWW!!!)

Very easy to make and delicious!

It's not the traditional flaky cobbler but this is the type of cake/cobbler we enjoy at home. This is always a #1 hit each and every time I make it. I have made it in cupcake form as well as full pan size. I enjoy making it with various fruit but peach seems to be the top pick for everyone

Hot cobbler on cold minnesota nights

I bring this from Alabama to Minnesota while visting my sister who has stage 4 lung cancer. After treatments , food has an odd taste....except sweets. She loves this cobbler mix. Found this by accident, or was it. I made a cobbler with this mix and used a can of carmel apple mix and took it to a local cafe for a New Years Day feed and got more compliments than I ever did on my home made cobbles that took forever. New old tradition

Up here in the Seattle area, this time of year produces the most wonderful wild blackberries. I had a bunch growing in my backyard, and before the birds got to them, I harvested them and bought this at my regional Fred Meyer grocery store and fixed up a fresh blackberry cobbler that EVERYONE loved!! I served it with a dash of cold heavy cream and mmmm good! BETTER than what my mom or grandmother ever made!

There are lots of "back when" recipes for all of us to remember but in our fast paced world this product is wonderful. It is good, quick, and worthy of the praise your guests and family give. I haven't tried it but it might even be good with "sour grapes".

Superior taste

I have been a fan of this cobbler mix for years. The turbinado sugar cannot be found in other mixes. I add my own "curve" for a richer taste. But hands down, by itself is better than anything out there. I am so glad I can find it online.

This southern girl moved to Oregon...but.has to have the best.SOUTHERN FOOD.this is THE BEST...BEYOND ALL OTHERS .. so if you are looking for a great product thats easy TO USE and the taste is AWSUME.. you will not regret. I Love this mix, but the 15oz can of fruit wasn't enough fruit for us. So I use the larger can and drain off 1/2-1/3 cup of liquid and it's comes out perfect.

What more could a dieter ask for?

I can't say enough about this product. I lighten the calories by using canned cherries w/o sugar and ICBINB spray instead of butter. It takes mere minutes, is only 4 WW points and the taste is outstanding! I recently went into a panic when I couldn't find it on my local store shelves so store personnel pointed me in the right direction and just to be on the safe side (I like this mix so much) I bought several packages. My father sent a few packages of the cobbler mix in a 'care package' to us and the kids can't get enough of it! I've searched all of the local stores (WalMart, KMart, Winn Dixie, Publix, etc.), but no one seems to carry it. We made this with peaches, and I thought our guests would hurt each other as they grabbed for seconds. Preparation time was about half a minute after we found the pan, and it smelled SO GOOD as it baked we were ready to open the oven and start eating before it was done.
