Awesome !!!

I thought I had what I needed to use this but I had to substitute the tomato sauce with coconut milk. Well. It turned out to be the best white sauce I could have imagine and I used it over my fish and will continue to do it this way. Awesome and Thanks.

I love it!

I bought a package from a local produce market because I love shrimp creole and I was curious as to how it would taste. I couldn't believe the results!! If I hadn't made it myself, I would have swore it was made from scratch. You can't find it in stores, so I always order a case online so I don't run out. It's a perfect meal to serve when you're having guests over for dinner. My family and friends LOVE IT!

We love this mix. When I add fresh peppers, onions and celery, I also add an 8 oz tomato sauce and it is even better!

I make very good scratch shrimp creole, but the Louisiana Fish Fry mix is so quick and just as good. Matter of fact, I served shrimp creole instead of turkey this past Christmas. Everybody loved it! The seasoning is perfect.

Absolutely wonderful

I purchased a few pkg's of this when visiting New Orleans a few years ago. This has such an authentic taste and is so easy to prepare. I prepared this for dinner guests and they had no idea it was from a package, thought it was from scratch. I didn't tell either! Served with rice and a fresh green salad, and hearty bread, this is a wonderful meal.

My husband doesn't like shrimp, and my kids have decided to become picky eaters--and all four of them wolfed this down and asked for seconds. They LOVED it! I thought it was great tasting and easy to prepare. The flavor and texture were very comparable to some I had in a restaurant recently. I'd definitely make this again! Highly recommended!

Got some of this in a gift box for christmas a few years back and fell in love with it. Living in Pennsylvania I cant get it in the stores around here. Only thing available in stores around here is Zatarans and it just isnt the same Gotta have the LFFP brand. Oddly enough I hate tomatoes and anything that has olot of tomatoe sause in it, but I absolutely LOVE this stuff.

Very good shrimp creole

I'm a New Orleans guy raised cooking creole food who has been relocated to CA for work. One day at the grocery, I picked up a bag of the Shrimp Creole Mix. The result was very good for a quick Friday night dinner during Lent. The only problem was that the directions could be improved. The directions give cooking durations strictly based on time. However, the mixture should be simmering for a while before the shrimp are put into the pot which it wasn't based on the time given. At 15 minutes over low heat, the mixture was not very hot and the dryed onions, etc included in the mix were still hard. Extending the time a little and bringing the mixture to a simmer helped to ensure that the dryed ingredients were re-hydrated and softened and also ensured that the shrimp were cooked and their flavor spread to the creole sauce. Don't forget to stir frequently to keep the sauce from sticking to the bottom. If the directions were improved, the product would be better and less seasoned cooks would get better results.
